SpinTEC – Rotary Atmospheric Plasma Treatment for Uniform Surface Activation

The SpinTEC system is Tantec’s advanced solution for rotary atmospheric plasma treatment, designed to deliver uniform surface activation even on challenging geometries. Built on high-voltage DC plasma discharge technology, it combines precision, flexibility, and performance for modern production environments.

Designed for Maximum Flexibility

The SpinTEC integrates seamlessly into robotic cells, functions as a standalone plasma unit, or can be implemented directly on an existing production line. Its compact footprint and flexible setup make it suitable for industries such as automotive manufacturing, medical devices, electronics, and packaging.

Dual Nozzle Rotation – Uniform Treatment Without Heat Damage

Equipped with an AC-driven rotary motor, the SpinTEC operates two PlasmaTEC-X nozzles pointing inwards toward the treatment area. By rotating the nozzles at speeds up to 1,000 rpm, the system ensures homogeneous plasma coverage while minimizing heat impact on sensitive materials.

  • Treatment area: Adjustable between 40 mm and 150 mm

  • Treatment speed: Handles components moving up to 10 m/min

  • Compatibility: Connects with standard PLX generators and the Plasma REMOTE HMI control unit

AirTEC Technology – Consistent Plasma Output

Uniform plasma treatment depends on precise air pressure and volume. Integrated AirTEC technology ensures a constant airflow to the discharge nozzles, regardless of hose or cable length. The system self-adjusts automatically, removing the need for manual calibration and guaranteeing stable, repeatable results.

Plug-and-Play Setup

The SpinTEC’s universal power input and standard plug-in connections make installation fast and intuitive. Simply connect to mains power and compressed air — the system is ready to run without any additional configuration.

Stand-By Airflow – Protecting Nozzles from Dust

With the “Stand-By Air Low” feature, operators can maintain a controlled, reduced airflow when the system is idle. This prevents dust from being drawn into the nozzles, extending component lifetime and improving long-term performance.

Easy Integration and Maintenance

All connections between the SpinTEC generator and discharge nozzles use standard plugs, making setup straightforward. Thanks to its DC plasma technology and AirTEC regulation, no manual adjustments are needed, even when changing cable lengths.
